In the first part, I showed You places wich I most loved in Bath. However, the architecture I had to leave for a second part because there’s a lot it. If You saw these photos You know that interesting buildings can be found on every step. The most iconic include Royal Crescent and Royal Circus. The first building is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent. And the second building is a circle around a roundabout with columns on the façade of each floor (apparently one of the apartments is owned by Nicolas Cage: P). In addition, the beautiful churches, hotels or apartment.
Only Venice impressed me as much in terms of urban space. In Italian city every street could be marked as a monument. However, in Bath, everything is a little less consistent and knows how to surprise. It is influenced for example by Roman and Georgian styles. Please note that the appearance of the city is not accidental. In the seventeenth century, Richard Beau Nash served here as the „Master of Ceremonies”. This notorious gambler (apparently with a good heart, because he could return the money he won) and seducer was one of the main people responsible for taking care of style of constructions and development of the city.
